Lower Body Bed Exercises for Strength and Mobility: follow-along exercise video

Lower Body Bed Exercises for Strength and Mobility

Build leg and hip strength without getting out of bed. A beginner-level routine for when standing is too much.

If walking hurts too much right now, start here. Each short video works on one area, like your feet and ankles, knees, hips, hands, neck or shoulders, mostly sitting or lying down, so you can ease stiffness and build strength before you take your next step.

Time: 20 minutes
You’ll need: A sturdy chair without wheels (or your bed), comfy clothes and a glass of water.

Move within a comfortable range. Gentle effort is good, but sharp or increasing pain means stop. Start with one short video a day and build up slowly. If you’ve had a recent injury or surgery, a blood clot, bone weakness (such as osteoporosis or cancer in the bones), or numb feet, check with your doctor or physiotherapist first.

How Honeycomb can help

You don’t have to work this out alone
